It was time for birthday shopping. Who doesn’t need matching shoes after we got a flowery, white and pink dress?
We walked into the store, and I tried to show her so many options that would go with her white and pink dress!
But she wanted plain black flats. So I tried to find some shiny, dressy black flats. But she wanted these instead.
She was happy walking around in those. So I was like what the hell, let’s get them. She will be happy, less hassle to get her to wear something she doesn’t like (if you have tried dressing up a 4-year-old with very clear choices) and of course value for money.
As we got home, she got these for me.
And that’s when it rang a bell. She wanted to emulate me.
